Embark on an unforgettable trekking journey beginning in the historic town of Gorkha, following a scenic 6–7-hour drive from Kathmandu. This culturally rich gateway marks the start of an epic trail into the remote Himalayan wilderness.
The route gradually ascends through the wild and largely unexplored Budhi Gandaki River valley, passing through terrain inhabited mostly by the Gurung community. Along the way, you'll experience raw natural beauty and traditional mountain lifestyles untouched by modern development.
The trek circumnavigates the magnificent Mt. Manaslu (8,156 meters), Nepal’s eighth highest peak, and crosses the challenging Larkya La Pass at 5,100 meters. This dramatic high mountain crossing offers panoramic views and a deep sense of achievement.
Descending into the Marshyangdi River Valley, the trail merges with the classic Annapurna Circuit, continuing through picturesque landscapes framed by snow-capped peaks and alpine forests.
The adventure culminates with an ascent to the Thorung La Pass at 5,416 meters — one of the highest trekking passes in Nepal. From there, the path leads into the Kali Gandaki Valley and onward to Jomsom, with continuous views of the awe-inspiring Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges enriching every step.
